I've shot a lot of string materials. I just shot 8190 for a couple of years, d97 before that. About a month ago I tried out 450+ and love it! It didn't seem to stretch as much, and it is much quiter than the previous strings. Any other info on other string materials would be appreciated.

Used D97 for most of my strings but lately have been using Astroflite. Quiet and once settled in no stretch at all. I do not pre stretch my strings.

I want to try the 8190 but for the past few years I have been using a Chad Weaver 14/18 8125.

Been using Chads D97 strings on my longbows, researching what I'll use since going to ILF recurve.

I used 3 types, D97, 450plus, and 8125, all good strings.

B50 on a hill bow seems to be my preferred string.

I shoot B50 on my Hills, but I really want to try 450+ or 8125.  I tried D-97 before and didn't like it.

Darren do you notice any difference in the three strings?  I have read that 450+ and 8125 are a little softer than D-97.

I have currently switched to 450+ and love it. I've noticed it is much more quiet than 8190 and d97.

I just learned to make my own and have made 3 bundle Flemish to replace all my endless loops.

Agree with SemperTodd...B50 has been great with my hills, great with my recurves, great with my R/Ds...and I want to fix what?  Accuracy?  Noise?  Results?  Nope, nope and nope!  Sticking with a winner....pretty simple.
