Valor scores on a turkey. Wind blowing hard; really hard. But, I managed to get within 20 yards of a bunch, and took this hen. First kill of the season for me and for James’ newest creation. Wood arrows and a Grizzly head.

Crispin,
Nice bird. Sorry that I beat you to the punch with Valor. On second thought, I ‘m not really all that sorry. 🦃😀

I have taken some longbeards over the years, but I am much more of an opportunist and meat hunter with turkeys. That is the great thing about fall season; hens are fair game. This morning, this little bird gave her all to go on my dinner plate. Another bird for OE’s Valor. She will be very tasty.

Way to go Pat I am working on a new turkey spot for this spring. Should be some in Area 7 where I am hunting elk but haven't found them yet. The OE Valor is suiting you nicely, you are getting my interest up on a reverse handle.
