I have been holding off until saying anything until I had a website up, but I’m kinda running out of time and wanted to get this out there.
We are in the process of developing a bowhunting ranch in the Texas hill country, called London Oaks Ranch.
I am going to open it up for a couple of hunts to friends and TAS members.
You can shoot a buck and a doe, and as many hogs as you want, your only cost is a hunting license, food, and getting here.
I have opportunities for axis, blackbuck, fallow deer and aoudad for extra cost if interested, but really not trying to sell those hunts yet.
The deer are native deer, but by the time season starts it will be high fenced. I have blinds that are all setbup for trad bow distances over corn feeders and water holes. We have a very high deer population and this is part of the wildlife management plan.
We have nice sleeping quarters with full kitchen, outdoor grill, fire pit, etc
Even have a small 3D for mid day.
The first week(in October) is already filled with guys from here, and right now the second hunt is open for 3-4 hunters., first come, first serve, to whoever commits.
Right now the date is Nov 14-18, in camp it’s Frank(Selden Slider) and I bet I can talk Bisch into coming up for a bit.
*if you wanted to bring your wife and/or kids, we could make it work. I have separate quarters we can use if needed.*
PM me, or better yet text me at 214-500-8895 if interested, and with any questions.
Tim King

Sorry, this week is filled. I may get another in before season is over.

Well that's great news Tim, hope all goes according to plan for you. Also a very generous offer as well, I would love to take you up on it but the timing is bad for me, hopefully I'll be able to pay a visit in the future! [thumb]

Tim, That’s an awesome offer to our TAS family. I might make a second trip in November 😉 to meet more of our brothers and sisters.

Tim.... very generous offer. I wish I was available. I'll be in May,Tx. about that time with a deer tag in my pocket. I hope one day we can get together and put our Schulz lessons to use.

Mr Lamb, I look forward to that!

Believe it or not, I drive through May every week, which takes about 30 seconds beginning to end. The ranch is about 2 hours south of May. If you find extra time on your hands, I hope you will call.

Tim, I was talking to Darren about this hunt. He told me he's going out there next month. If you still have an opening for November, I would like to take you up on it. Thinking of driving out there instead of flying. Is 4 wheel drive needed at the ranch? Saw video of the place - looks awesome!

I just realized the hunt dates being 14-18 Nov. Howard Hill was born on the 13th and my anniversary is the 14th, and my wife said it was ok. This is going to be a special get together.

Hey Bob, don’t miss your anniversary!
The dates can move a day or two either direction?

Vic, that’s awesome
It will be worth the drive, plus you can bring extra ice chest to carry Darren’s home!

Tim:

I have already discussed the dates with my wife, she reminded me that its just a date on the calendar and this would be the first time in 48 years. That's one of the reasons we have made it this long.
