I got in touch with Ed Moninghoff yesterday to do a pulse check on him. He has officially retired from Blue Moose and Jan has retired from the post office. Both are doing well. In our conversation, he inquired if anybody from TAS was going up to Maine this year. Though he has retired, he is going to be helping out the young fella who bought up Blue Moose.

So, in order to give Ed an answer, is anyone interested in heading up to his place (same facilities and hunting areas as our last trip up) to do a bear hunt this fall?

Add to this post or PM me and I'll run point on it.

Kent

I been there and done that. Ed's hunt was very well done. The ONLY reason for my not participating is that I am getting old and have yet a ton of items on my "to do" list. I just cannot do everything.

Dan,
I would get that wild hair checked out... sounds irritating.

Kent,
I think I would have a hard time topping my current bear...too many other critters have my attention. But I am kind of scared of the North, iโ€™m still trying to recover from a week in times square!

Hey Dan. I've been in touch with Ed. That last week of August I will be in Wyoming after antelope. I'm tossing the idea around about the third week of bear in Maine.
