Looks like a lot of good times Gypsy, I used to bow fish quite a bit myself....there always seemed to be a direct corolation between Budweiser consumed, decreased accuracy, and good times! Those were the days!

I love to bowfish, suck at it but love it.[biggrin]
I only made one trip last year and don't remember firing a shot but the other 2 in the boat had fun. when my buddy called I failed to understand his BIL was going with us, which was OK. the BIL is an overseas teacher in Korea and we let him have the most shots.

Eddie C . I think We all miss more than We harvest . Gar are hard to hit just right for penetration and the light refraction factor adds to the dilema . Lol . The difficulty of it has been My motivator . Sort of like arial archery but harder . Id love to bowfish with You someday Sir .

Same here. Let me know if you get up to TN near Memphis and we'll go to Reelfoot Lake. I have another place on a refuge that's daytime only. I'm not setup for night time but been wanting to.

Those are plecostomus. Just like the ones you see in an aquarium, only bigger. Non-native, and very bad for the native fishes ecosystem.

No, I have not, but I am in the middle of building a bowfishing boat now.

Congrats on your fish, Kevin!
