I was there. I had a great hunt.  Karl has a nice place and I can't imagine a more personable, helpful person than Karl.  He wants you to see and (hopefully) kill a pig / javelina.  If I were closer I would definitely go back in a flash, especially since I know a little bit of the ranch now and would do..hmmm.... certain things..... heheheheh.

But dang, that place is over 24 hours of driving away from my home.  I myself would recommend it if you can make the hunt.

I agree with Chuck
Lincoln Ranch is a great place, sounds like an awesome hunt.
I missed getting to meet Jim Belcher by about a half hour last time I was there.

Hi Dustin,

I got your emailed and answered it. The best thing to do is contact Karl at Lincoln Ranch and let him keep track of the number of hunters going. If you missed it up to lodging is included. Once we hit 10 hunters that will be the cutoff for this hunt.

Very jealous.  Can't do both the hunt in Texas (Mar 11-16) and the TAS championships in Indiana ( Mar 31-Apr 2) in the same month. I'm gonna need to retire while I'm still young enough to enjoy it.

I'm booked!

It's gonna be a blast, great set up, excellent accommodations, and REAL Texas Brush Country1
We need some our northern brethren to make the trip (Dan?) March in Texas could be anything but last time we were there it was t-shirt weather...

I'm still working on it Tim. Had some email discussions with Karl last night. The hunt is a good deal and would absolutely be a blast. It's just the $500 plane fare from D.C. that's scaring me off a bit. Bob

Well Bob, if you can work it out to where you came in the same time as Darren, you wouldn't have to rent a car. I'll be picking him up in San Antonio and will have room as it stands now.

Lincoln is a great slice of real Texas....

Bob, That sounds steep for the airline ticket. I bought my ticket for 279.00 round trip on South West. I usually choose to fly SW or American. SW gives you a 2 bag minimum what's really nice. My gear goes in one bag and my clothes goes in the other bag.
