Buddy of mine sent me some photo's he had on his computer. He sent them my way sometime ago. Which I forgot too post . Some of which I myself have never seen before. This first one. Look at the way Howard;s bow he's holding bends like it's broken it seams like maybe a bad hing also is that a horn string nock on the bow. You may have to look pretty hard too see what I'm talking about. I really like this photo of Howard stringing his bow.. horn string nocks. just a great photo

In a couple pictures you can see the thread wrapping on Howard's bows. Probably the leaf spring tillered bow. The bottom looks like a picture taken with a radius backed bow with the node still on the back. It is similar to a painting used for the cover of Howard Hill's Archery Adventures, the paperback version to Hunting the Hard Way printed in 1955, by Trend Books.

Howard sure looks happy with his bear trophy. Great looking bow too. It looks pretty stout, happy hunting Howard.
