For a long time I have used layered foam targets, either "the Hole or Block" whatever was on sale. Im due to buy again and want to find out if anything better or improved has come along, or what peoples preferences might be?

Hopefully you get some good responses. I'm not real impressed with the Block I bought 4 months ago. Only shooting field points it's already shot out and I don't shoot more than 50 arrows a week.

I use a 20”x20” blob target. They hold up great to fieldtips.

just one of those stuffed bag targets when the bag wears out just stuff in another bag- good heavy burlap lasts better than those plastic fiber bags  and keep under roof

compressed straw perty good to  with rachet straps around a couple of bails

Never heard of Blob, but looked them up on YouTube. Appear really strong, video even shows them absorbing hand gun rounds.[eek]

I bought two of the Blob targets at KyTradFest this year and can truthfully say I have never had a better or more durable target material.  They are heavy as can be and really stand up to hard use.

Blobs are awesome, I do believe some batches are better than others though

Get one of the American Whitetail Offerings around Thanksgiving, when the prices tumble to make room for next year's collection.
Even at the regular price, they are great targets:

Other larger sizes are available...

I had a blob that I shot to pieces. I just started buying these to shoot broadheads and fieldpoints. Alot cheaper and the mess is biodegradable! I buy 2 or 3 of these a year and have a 3d target.
