He's making it look easy. They are very hard to hit and, even when you do, they don't often go down. I typically hit 1 out of 5 birds and in the few times I've done it, have never had one go down.
The PA pheasant season opens on Oct 24. Not ashamed to admit I'll be taking my 12 ga O/U out instead of my Northern Mist longbow. At least for opening day. The Poodle would never forgive me if I missed all the birds he put up.
Took me more than a few try’s before I got one. I will admit it was fun. Only thing besides Italian beef sandwiches I miss about living in IL.
