For the past two years i have been really working on finding, developing and maintaining my form. I think...form is something that is custom tailored to how you want to shoot ( style, lets say) and our physical and mental limitations. I found the form i want to maintain..it works for me. Now is the even harder part. Controlling the shot. As a very long time owner of target panic, i want to control my shot. Release when i want to, not when that inner brain says to. Working on it. Drills.

Been dropping my bow arm lately, as noted by my wife, so Ive been doing blank bale work on my form. She offerd to hold a sharp broadhead arrow under my bow arm while I shot to keep me from dropping the bow arm.
Being consistent with the shot cycle. I have a tendency to lose my focus.
For me, it seems that I can only focus on one arm at a time. When I am trying to focus on my release, I tend to drop my bow arm unpon release. So I alternate between shooting right (I'm left-handed) and shooting low. Maybe one day I'll get both fixed at the same time
Although i can get static and secondary aim, I do better hunting little critters and deer if I shoot fluid, problem is, I let myself get stale and my tempo is getting too fast. Today I found it is one thing to shoot good groups at a target at 20 yards and another thing to do the same out roving on my friends farm. I need to work on slowing things down again and groove in longer shots.
Working on getting back in shape. Only shot a couple of times since the first of the year. Under the gun now. Elk season is coming up!
Always working on coming to full draw with my heavy Hill bows. Blank bailing from different standing, kneeling and sitting positions.
