I started out with my old reliable slightly backst ASL that I built in 2011 to lighten up in deference ro pain in the bow arm. It's been my goto for nine years now. 43# @28" .
But then I started playing with a Samick sage during practice sessions and took a liking to it. Lots of Samick stuff has passed through my hands in the past few years as limbs for frankenbows and risers for grandkids. It just happened that I acquired a right hand riser while a set of 45# limbs were in the house. Other than a few arrows through a 35# setup before it was passed along, I never gave them much time. It shot so nicely with my hunting arrows that it went with me the last few trips of the season. It was the first time hunting with a recurve in over 20 years. It might be time to build a recurve form!
Primal Tech 3pc takedown recurve!
Bisch
I’ve been hearing good things a the Primal Tech. Seen some game killed with them too.
Dave Wallace
I like Dave’s design. About 10 years ago Vince from Mohawk Bows built me a mild R/D longbow with a Hill style grip.
My Black Widow PL.
James, It looks cold 🥶
Most of the time with a Jerry Hill ASL.
@Gordon Jabben What model you shooting?
My JD Berry Misty Dawn. Got it a few days before the opener. Killed a doe with it opening day, been carrying it all season.
I like the white glass and riser.
My Robertson Fatal Styk.
Didn't hunt this season but if I did it would have been with my Widow PCH II. I will be hunting in Texas in January with it. Frank
I‘m still at it with my Sunset Hill.
Not exclusive, but mostly my Taipan
