Was able to pick up a used echo last week. I don’t think there are too many echos out there because chucks bread and butter are his shorter hunting bows so I felt I had to jump on this one when it popped up. I had Chuck build me an echo in 2018 and it was one of the most energetic hill styles I’ve ever shot period. The echo is a string follow model and it smoked just about all my backset bows in the chronograph. The only bow I had on the rack at The time that was faster was a red glassed northern mist classic. This echo blew my other string follow bows out of the water (not even close). I ended up selling that echo due to the partially torn tendon in my bow shoulder and I just couldn’t handle the weight anymore. I always wanted to find a used one in my weight range and I was lucky enough to do that. This bow has a yellowheart riser and walnut limb cores sandwiched between brown glass. This bow flat out shoots! The narrow limbs sight up and track absolutely perfect. The string grooves are filed in perfectly. I took this bow out of the tube and even without a nock on the string I shot one of the best opening groups I’ve shot with any bow. The speed and the lack of noise were a few things I noticed right off the jump. This bow really rips just like the last one I had. I ran this bow through the chrono the numbers affirmed my observation. I don’t know how Chuck gets these string follows to perform the way they do but my goodness he has it figured out. Here are some pics of the echo!

Based on my sample of one, nothing Has been overstated about these bows. Awesome in every way, and yes, they do absolutely roast an arrow besides.
Sure is a good looking longbow and Chuck is a great guy to buy from.
I think I was the winning bidder on eBay for that one. It was well below the reserve though. I shoot righty and lefty.
I've got a lefty for sale currently. I'm sure I'll regret it in the future but I just don't shoot it as much as I my Ogemaw. And I'm on a waiting list for a different longbow, lol. It's a vicious cycle.
Another great find. I agree the wood combos are rich, like a “gentleman’s” bow.
Very nice combo of woods, rich look.
