If you shoot ILF bows I’m sure you’re familiar with TradTech products from Lancaster Archery.
A few years ago I hand the top of the line TT R/C wood core limb. It was the fastest recurve limb I’ve shot. With 9 gpi arrow, it was 190 FPS.
After hearing such good things about the TT wood/glass limb I finally decided to give it a try. I mean how good can a 150.00 limb be, right? I like nice quality stuff so I was already thinking that I would have to sell them because they‘re not going to meet my expectations.
Yesterday the TT 2.0 limbs came in the mail. As I was taking them out the package I noticed the flat black coating on the limb, and I was starting to like what I was seeing!! There was no imperfections in the limb, overall, the quality was really good and they were nicely done.
I mounted the limbs on the TT 19” riser, set the tiller and brace height. I drew back the limbs several times and they were smooth. They was no stacking or hitting a wall, they just drew smooth all the back to anchor.
Today, I took the bow with the new limbs out back to shoot a few arrows. After shooting several arrows, I can tell you these limbs look nice, draws smooth and shoots hard.
For only $150.00, these TT 2.0 limbs are quite the bargain!! I can tell you without using a chrono that they are not as fast as the TT 2.0 R/C limbs but they are not slow either. I would not hesitate to buy these limbs again. They’re a really good limb limb overall and I’m already thinking about a second set in a higher poundage.
