Well Chuck, I try to hunt small timber like pecan and osage which don't have too many hollow trees. Then the dog tells me where the squirrels are which makes it easier. Love to have you come out and give it a try. January is the best and I think we would get some. Only got one and a raccoon today but it was still fun with some stump shooting thrown in.

Yep. 3 does. I was not even hunting as I just received my Hunters Tree Seat and stepped into the woods for 5 minutes to test it out and so did not have my bow with me. I wasn't sitting there but a minute when these three gals appeared to my right and were just 10 yards away from me. They didn't see me cause I was still. As soon as I reached in my pocket to get my phone to take a picture, they caught my arm movement and bolted about 30 yards and then stopped and turned to see what it was they had just run from - that's when I snapped this pic. I love just sittin' in the woods! Here's to wishing all you folks a great New Year and many happy moments sittin' in the woods!
