...that every time I get down to Tim's place, he talks me into buying another bow. This time it was one of his own bows, a 62" Java Man Assyrian that draws 48#. Showed up in the mail today. An absolutely wonderful shooter. Grip fits my hand perfectly and the bow is smooth, fast, and surprisingly forgiving of my short draws and twitchy releases. Have no idea why, but it likes heavier spined arrows than it should. Tried ones that were supposed to match the bow, but wasn't entirely happy with the results so I grabbed the ones in the pictures. Wood, 28 1/4" BOP, 57-58# spine with 125gr points. There's no arrow chart in the industry that says they should work, but with these kinds of groups I am going to keep shooting them. Now I just need someone to buy that BW PTF I have for sale so I can cover the check before Tim tries to cash it...😄
