Finally convinced Danny to sell me his gran-ma. His bow named gran-ma that is. this is actually the second time having this bow in my hands. The first time was at the kAlamazoo expo back in 2016. Dave had this bow and another on display. I thought they were the coolest looking bows I’ve laid eyes on. This bow is a thing of beauty. It’s beautifully constructed and everything sites up straight and symmetrical. The finish is very nice. I actually buffed the flat finish out when I got it. It’s really shining now just how I like it. I’ve only been able to shoot about a half dozen arrows out of it due to the single digit temps and the copious amount of snow on the ground. The bow pulls smooth and it’s quiet with zero hand shock. Im shooting close range so it’s hard to get a gauge on the speed but it’s shooting the same arrows I shoot out of my glass backed bows the same weight. All in all I’m tickled with it. It’s a sight to behold. Thanks a bunch Danny

Justin, who’s your endless loop string provider for your Longbows and do you use FF material for them........Ask Dan for me,tell him to go to the PO!
Well ok .that makes me feel better 😂
No, I love her and she’s going to win me a few shoots this summer!
I should’ve kept her. 😢
Justin,I here ya on material possessions,Gram-ma could at least have a few stitches in her wrap for that price tag!Her black false teeth do look good on her back tho..lol
keep mind, everything i own has a price tag. Ive never been one to get attached to bows or any material items for that matter. Gran-ma could be yours if you want it😆
Justin,i see you ain’t about to stick Gram-ma up in the snow.....she’s going to get mighty heavy carrying her back and forth to your target but don’t blame ya......nice shootin form my friend!
these security cameras work great for checking form!
Now boys don’t go a flightin over gran ma . wait time for one maybe five years. And grandma is not too fast she’s a grandma but she’s smooth
That Gram ma sure looks good. how does it shoot? Not that I could afford it but I wonder what the wait time is for a Dave Miller bow is now .
Justin I’ve thought about it today and I probably could trade the “YellowStone” for
Gram-Ma,,seeing it’s only 55#@28” believe I could pull it.....Sound good ole
buddy......sure is a nice one!
Justin if you run across another Jerry bow that is an Elite Plus let me know. That is what my Dad had would like to own one between 40-52 lbs.
Justin yes this is some fine tuning changing the string but trying to stick to what Howard shot it’s to much. Good Ol modern materials now days. I seen what David used on the back of these bows at his shop before he started building them. Also saw some original fiber from the 50’s that Howard used. Thanks for the photos.
Justin can I be next in line to purchase it if you decide to move it???
Justin, nice looking longbow, kinda modern old school!
Man that is a great looking bow. David really builds some beauties.
Very nice Justin. Very, very nice.
You have an ASL with carbon in the limbs??? Isn’t that some kind of blasphemy or something???
Congrats on your new stick!
Bisch
Beautiful work by Dave, looks a lot like my "Expedition". Was this originally made for Jerry Hill? I noticed his name on the upper limb.
