Finally was able to pick up an Saxon Express (laclair special) by Randy Dehnel. Randy built my very first custom bow when I was 22 years old. I always enjoyed my conversations with Randy and he built me a few other bows after that first one. I have a soft spot for saxons. Randy was quite a character. You never knew what randy you were going to get when you called lol. He always treated me good though. There was no denying the mans talent. Anyways, bow is an asl with 1 inch of backset and its 68” long. This bow came from Michigan form the original owner. I just got done rubbing it out, it had quite a bit of bow grime on it. It looks to haven’t been shot too much. enjoy the pics!

Have fun with her!!!

Never seen that before
Thanks fine looking bow
Looks like it was hardly used. Nice find. We were talking about Randy yesterday at the range. I had one of his ASL bows, American LB? I traded it off for a bow for the wife after I got my Pete George bow. I believe he made some bows for Jerry Geninallti of Catquiver fame as well. Randy was a respected bowyer.
