Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. I really don’t have to say much, I’ll let the pics do the talking. 😃

A great find indeed. One of the best kept ones I have seen. When I see one of those Pearson TD’s I am reminded of a old Ben Pearson short where he uses one of those bows to shoot Pheasant. The TV show was “Outdoors with Jim Thomas” that aired on WGN out of Chicago. Jim Thomas was the host on the hunt. My goodness that was about 1959.

@TomM jim Thomas was on air for a long time. I remember watching him when I was a kid. His show always came on after Midwest outdoors! I wish someone would remake those old pearson takedowns. I consider this little d/r longbow, the cobra, and the bushmasters among the best hunting bows of all time.

@Newell38 watching his show always hoping for an archery hunt with Fred Bear or Ben Pearson. They seemed few and far between, no recording back then.

Outstanding piece of archery history. It hasn’t been used much from the looks of it. Congrats!
