As new to archery shooter(2.5 years) and having one bow ,very happy shooting wood. I have the urge to get another not a replacement . Would staying with one bow and shooting it well , as I only have only shot the one bow. I don't want to be picking up a different bow every other day and have it shoot different and have to remember . Is that a issue or am I over thinking it ?

You might consider another bow if you decide to hunt far from home. But that’s how my “collection “ started. These days I have been know to shoot a different bow for each round of targets. That includes multiple dozens of arrows as well. That only changes if I am going hunting, then I stick with same bow and arrows I hunt with for at least a month before season. Life’s to short to be a one bow person or shoot ugly arrows. At least that’s what the archery vendors tell us.
I have several bows ranging from 40 to 53 pounds. There is no major issue for changing bows. After two or three warm up shots all feels normal, and there is no noticeable "readjustment". Just shoot a few arrows and they drop into the regular routine.
I know, trying not to go down the same path as I did with my firearms. Safe full and really only use a couple. There a some gorgeous bows out there.
Only one Bow? funny never heard that before :)
It would depend on your shooting style. If you're using gap shooting its a little more like using different rifles where you know your holds for each one. vs maybe using different shotguns might be like shooting instinctive. I shoot instinctive and make some of my own bows, so i shoot different bows all the time. I am usually fine after a few shots. however, I am the best with the bow I spend the most time with.
I think the benefit of trying out a different bow, maybe a totally different style or simply a different grip, out ways any potential down sides.
If you know anyone local who has several bows id see if you could try some of theirs out to see what you like. It's also not unheard of for someone on this forum to be kind enough to loan out a bow or two to a newb.
I can adapt after one ot two shots and usually that is not even needed
If it's similar to the bow you are shooting it shouldn't be a problem. Same arrows for both bows.
