I prefer not to have a quiver attached to my bow. However, I am considering purchasing a bow quiver for a particular hunting application. I am considering purchasing a “Selway plastic-hood strap-mount bow quiver” for use on my 64” 53# Howard Hill Archery Legend Stick. I would welcome the opinions of anyone who has had experience or knowledge about using this bow quiver or a very similar bow quiver with a Howard Hill Archery ASL. Thank you.

Thanks for the responses.
I have already reconsidered. I am quickly backpedaling away from the idea of purchasing a bow quiver for my ASL.
The use of a bow quiver on my ASL would likely be sporadic and seldom. This means that any changes in the shooting characteristics of my ASL due to the added bow quiver would always remain unfamiliar without suitable acclimatizing practice. In those sporadic and rare circumstances where using a bow quiver might make carrying my hunting gear a bit easier, I have already previously managed okay with my back quiver. I will continue to do so.
Sorry for the double post.
I like a naked ASL the best, but its hard not to appreciate the convenience of a bow quiver. If you shoot good with a bow quiver then why not? I usually wear a pack when hunting, therefore most times I'm using a bow quiver. Selway makes a great quiver. I've had one for years. Great Northern ,Big Jim's, Eagles Flight, are all good choices as well. Eagles Flight is the lightest. If you know someone who would loan you one to try that would be the best. Good luck on your search.

I am with the crowd that doesn't like bow quivers on an ASL. I've tried them and found the balance of the whole rig feels out of kilter, at least for me. Try it, and if you don't like it just take it off. Whatever, you decide, let it be based on what you like.
I know Jason Samkowiak of traditional bowhunting and wilderness podcast uses a bow quiver on his Northern Mist ASLs. I use one on a mild r&d bow and I like it. took me a bit to get used to it but it's very handy.
I dunno. I don't believe I'd go with a strap on and surely not the plastic hood, but I've been using slide on Selway 4-arrow quivers on my ASLs for years. Very solid and quiet and don't affect the way the bow shoots. I believe they make a rawhide version that's a bit smaller than their standard rawhide hood. Regardless, the rawhide hoods are less bulky than the plastic hoods.
Your first sentence is my thoughts
No way I could stand a bow mounted quiver on any of my ASL's -
