I will just re-post my TG post here:
That is very sad news indeed.
Ron's contributions to traditional archery and his contributions to the success of this community can not be easily be measured.
I would like to take this opportunity to send my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Ron was an inspiration to archers all over the world and his voice, and stories will be sadly missed by all in the world of archery.

Under the wide and starry sky,
Dig the grave and let me lie.
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will
This be the verse you grave for me:
Here he lies where he longed to be;
Home is the sailor, home from sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
