I call this one the rubber band bow. According to the description, you can use a rubber tube or band for the bowstring.
As I've said before, I'm always amazed at the gadgets some people have come up with in an attempt to build a better mouse trap, or bow.
I haven't seen any advertisements for this contraption, so I wonder if it ever got into production.
