This one also includes a special arrow to use with the bow. The bow was definitely ahead of its time. It was 3 piece with a metal handle and center shot. The arrow used hair-cloth or wire-cloth instead of feathers. Hair cloth is made from horse hair and wire cloth is woven wire.

Is that a single bevel suction cup?
Cheers mate! Good for him.
I am all for anything that gets them started and interested Ira. For avoidance of doubt, this IS the British Prime minister.😆
If a kid does their part will they get a good flying arrow from the Decathlon?
No thanks. I'll just stick with my "regular" longbow.
Ira:
The bow you pictured is quite similar to the one Folberth built about that same time period.

Wow!!!!! That Sabotage is one ugly contraption, and how would a guy ever grip it….????
Let's not forget the SABO SSR. This one was different. It was shoot through the center, but not true centershot. You could set it up for right or left hand and the replaceable limbs folded down.
That’s quite innovative indeed. And where the arrow goes thru the center of the grip, reminds me a lot of the whisker biscuits that the arrow passes thru on compound bows ,that was all the rage at one time.
The patent must have expired Ira, that Decathlon lot have nicked the idea 😁
Would like to see that in action. Looks like a pretty neat bow.
