I'm on Steve's build list for another Northern Mist Shelton. The man really knows how to make a great ASL !! I know the wait will be well worth it. This bow is my favorite string-follow longbow. The performance and stability are unmatched. Any other Shelton fan's out there??

I have 2 Shelton bows, and they are just about the only bows I shoot now. One is a green glass bamboo bow. The other is yew with a brown back and clear belly. This yew bow is really smooth. Both are 68" long and pull 53# at 28". I am really pleased with these bows and would recommend them to anybody wanting an ASL.
I have a NM Shelton, RH, 68", 59# @ 28", it has bamboo lamination, Myrtle riser, green glass on the back and white on the belly with a gloss finish. I love the color and bow, I found it in a classified at a bargain. I also have several self bows, by Miller, & Schulz without glass. They are super bows.

You can't go wrong with a Mist or a bow from Craig at Howard Hill Archery!! Both top notch men that make a great longbow. Excellent customer service and fine shooting longbows. I'm lucky enough to have a "few" in my den.
My close friend Vic has a Shelton takedown. It’s his favorite bow!
