So.....make life interesting. What are some things ( critters or other) that you can pursue THIS year that you never have, or haven't in a while ? I want to try snowshoe bunny hunting up north.

I have often thought about Snowshoe hunting but by the time season starts there is usually so much snow in the high country keeping track of arrows would be a real challenge.

Going back out after pheasants again. It's been 3-4 years since the last time I loosed an arrow at one. And of course, anything other than a Whitetail or a hog that I get a shot at down at London Oaks in December will be a first time experience for me.

Good luck with the snowshoes Chuck! Season on rabbits/hares runs from September 15-March 31st in Michigan. I haven't seen any shoeshoes this year, but I've have seen a lot more cottontails this year compared to past years.

Back quivers are actuslly fun. Takes a little bit to get used to them, especially in tight quarters. You would be surprised how you get used to havingbit on.

I saw quite a few anowshes during September hunts. At the end of September they were just beginning to show a little white. Could be a good year.
Good luck Chuck. Your place up north should be good country. When does the season open?

Snowshoes are fun! Cyclic critters, when they peak you can get a lot of shooting.
Now that I'm relegated to stumps and such I'm going to go strictly with a back quiver. That'll be new for me...
