Just found this site yesterday, I am a member on most trad sites, same name on most.
I am a 61 year old, near wore out, longbow hunter. It is the only way I have hunted for several years now, don‘t even remember how many. Age is not my big issue though. I am a kidney transplant patient, had cancer twice, and this year was diagnosed fourth stage renal cancer. I missed last season due to a serious surgery which accomplished nothing except confirmed what it was. I am currently positive for this nasty Covid virus. Yea some of us have all the fun!
Fast forward to something better. I have had an awesome season already this year. We get one Buck in my home state, and one Doe in the county where I live, I have already filled those tags. I can travel a little and take more Doe’s in other counties.
I enjoy building things I Use while hunting. I build bows, strings, quivers, silencers, fletching, and whatever else I can. Sickness has slowed progress but I did build arrows from cane and local sticks, even a few knives, and broadheads. In recent years I have let up and using store bought stuff. Even some fancy carbon arrows and screw in broadheads.
Although a member on many sites you will not see me active among fussing, arguing, or my way or no way post. I do my best to show utmost respect to everyone, even those who disagree with me.
I am a minister and Pastor also, about to enter my 40th year. I’m not here to preach though, I have a Church, just intro myself. I’ll try to share some pictures of my season. So howdy from Kentucky.

Hello, I really enjoyed your story and I'm glad you found this site.
Welcome to the site, I recognize the name from another site that seems to have gone away. Sorry to hear about all your health issues but your still at it . That’s what counts.
