My Wes Wallace Royal LB arrived yesterday afternoon. it was pretty much setup so I took it this AM to a 3D shoot. It shoots great, flatter shooting than my Bear TD at same weight. The bow has bamboo limb cores with Cocobolo veneers, a Cocobolo riser with antler overlay. It’s also a 2 piece TD. 44#@28”, 66” long. Came with a 2 piece sock, string, and some instructions on care and use. Also a stringer. I made a few adjustments this AM, brace height, and shot 20 targets. I used a mixed bag of 600 spine arrows and one 500 spine Axis arrow. For grins I shot a few X7 aluminums I had weighted up to 420 grains. Only arrows that flew kind of funky were the Dark Timbers from Big Jim but that could be a point weight issue. First target was at 20+ yards, I “looked” at what I have been shooting with the recurve and almost shot over the target. It took me a few target’s to adjust for the flat shooting this bow does. The bow is everything I wanted and I am impressed.

Shot another 3D round yesterday with new bow. i am really liking this bow. Being lighter pull weight I can shoot more arrows with far less aches and pains. Wednesday I will spend some time and effort doing some bareshafting. I have 3 different shafts to choose from plus woodies I want to try.
Congrats on a great longbow!
Love it ! congrats
Heck of a nice bow
Nothing like the feeling of a new bow. Looks great enjoy
Beautiful bow. Now we need a picture of it draped over a real bear.
beautiful wood in it
looks nice
never handled one of his
Build time was 7 months. I got every option available. He does offer checkering on his recurves. Unfortunately I don’t think that would have worked with the 2 piece option I got. The bow has the wife’s seal of approval as well.
Tom, Good choice in veneers! I love the cocobola. What is Wes's build time?
A beauty Tom
Congratulation!! Nothing like shooting a new bow and have it meet or exceed your expectations.
Nice....pretty
