The bow wax topic brought this to mind but I didn't want to muddle it up.
A fellow league shooter did did this back in the '80's and it was kinda neat.
He applied camo to his bow using squares of corduroy and shoe polish of different colors in a pattern of squares with the color varied. The squares were about 1" and the cord created a texture similar to the cord. I'm not big on camo on my hunting bows and have actually only done one. That with three colors of krylon.
Just thought some members might find it at least interesting if not intriguing.
On my recurve I like to use the camo sleeves that’s sold by 3Rivers Archery.
