This is great, I can do all my shopping right here on TAS!
Going to get an awning to go over my new pool!!
Cant wait till someone advertises waterproof tackle, then my life of leisure will be complete.

I am one of those who do not like facebook. I look at it from time to time, but I don't waste my time looking there. Facebook is too negative and people for whatever reason cannot get along. I'll stay right here thank you very much. To the people keeping the TAS Forum alive, I thank you!

This site went offline at one point, correct? And everybody went to FB or TG or LW?
So for the few left here, why lament? Quit whining and start posting more!
We are not likely to generate more interest or membership, if what visitors see when checking the site is regurgitated videos and complaining. Some enhanced steerage would be welcome also.

I sort of follow the fb group but there's no sense of community the way this site used to be. Much was lost in the site transition.

Seems like the downhill slide began with the change in the format of the site. Sorry to see that happen.

Everyone is on FB as well as the vendor's websites. It reaches a larger audience.

Sad but true. I’m not on Facebook and never will be. This forum used to have a lot of good information and participant. I guess nothing lasts forever

Don't know what has happened to our forum. It was such a great forum at one time. Always a lot of good people posting and now it's dried up like a leaf in the dead of winter!

I agree. It's like going back to the old neiborhood hangouts and all my friends moved away...lol 😐

It's the way of nature. That which goes up, must come down. Even things that flourish eventually die. While I regret what has happened to this forum, I wait in patient anticipation for FB to meet its (hopefully) inevitable fate 👹

When I joined this forum a few years ago, it was very much alive and well. There was a lot of member input and participation. I had good response to giveaways as well.
Now, all of that has changed. For any thread that would have normally elicited a healthy response I may get 3 or 4. Mostly from the same few members.
Usually change is good, if it's in a positive direction. As far as I'm concerned that's not the case here.
It was fun and I appreciate all the comments and kind words.
