Great looking bow. I have not heard of San Marco bows before. Bowyer still making them?

Frank no long makes ASLs, but he does make a high-end R/D model. His bows are highly regarded. I'm told by Nate Steen that John Schulz was impressed by Frank's work, which is saying something. I just acquired this one from the original owner...quite the shooter!

I have one that I shoot left and right handed, thus the term due. It is remarkably fast pointing and accurate on game.

yep, both take downs. At 70" makes them easier to transport. At least with the vehicle I have.

Interesting comments on the Morningstar. I called James over a year ago. We had a long talk (I'm not sure anyone ever has a short talk with James, a fun guy to talk with though) I sent in a letter as he requested and it was to be placed on his wheel, no promises though. So I have given up on JD and one other bowyer on getting a build on a left hand reverse handle longbow from either. I now have an order in with St Patrick Lakes Longbows for a Northern Styk and the build should start soon. At 77 I have limited wait time left 😆

My Morningstar, considering my short draw, is pretty quick with 1918s. I cannot explain the tight groups I get at times, it loves to strip my arrows. It must correct a slight variable I have in my form or something. A good group for me at 20 yards is a tennis ball, a good group with the Morningstar gets 3 or four of those 6 packing tight. The other day I was not so good, softball groups with my Berry duo shooter to baseball groups with the Morningstar, of a few of those had an arrow or two an inch or so off. But it's early, I have not shot much for a while. One thing, certain bows seem to float on target at release, don't know if it is the design or just how the bow fits me, but it's cool.
