Jerry Amster seen a picture posted of an Archer on the TAS website several years ago. Jerry sent me this email to pass it on to the archer.
I suggest you touch the bow grip.... do not shoot with your fingers OPEN !
I want you to hold the bow as if it were a egg ..... a RAW egg .....with a crack in it ! (Or) Hold the bow as you would a baby duck !
When you shoot... and we can spend more time on that... don't let your LEFT hand....know what your RIGHT hand did !
Who am I? Jerry Amster... the "Photographer" ...not "The DRUG SMUGGLER "!
* National Indoor Target Champ... 1951/
Hunted with Fred Bear (1952)in The Great Kiabab Forest... hunted w. Glenn St. Charles... made arrows for Howard Hill ('51), shot both "instinctive" and freestyle. Etc.etc. "Bla-Bla-Bla"!
Remember... "Old Archers never die ! They just lose their quiver !"
Respectfully,
Jerry Amster

It’s very said to hear this. Over the years, Jerry would read topics on the TAS forum and send me emails about his life and career in archery.
