Where is everyone! What has happened to our forum? We go days without a single post. We seem to be withering away. The site may be harder to use but it is still here if we just put forth a little effort we can bring it back to life. Come on guys let’s make it happen!

As a fairly new subscriber, I am sure this will raise some feathers. Kick me off I really don't care. Looked at other forms with not too much interest, found this one looked good till I made a post and got a flipped answer and it didn't address my question that was asked. So maybe it's just a whats for sale form for me.
I watch this groups FB page as well as another about Bear Archery equipment. Lots of “newbies” asking questions. At time’s some of those questions are annoying because they are repeated so often. Seems like we have lost the ability to research before we ask for help. But I do like seeing how archery is done in other countries especially those that have no archery hunting. Doesn’t seem to stop them from enjoying the sport. There’s even a Howard Hill group by a Rod Jenkins look alike. BUT, even those FB groups are not all that active with new materials besides “new bows” or hunting pictures.
I don‘t do Facebook either and don’t really plan to start. Maybe we at least need to start a 2022-2023 harvest post on here?
I hate Facebook! I closed my account due to incessant, offensive ads and "suggested pages" that would not stop. But clearly (upon quick inspection) that's where most longbowmen are congregating...a quick look this morning informed me that Arne Moe passed. I knew him from Dick Wightman's HH list... Same for Bob Wesley. I didn't see any notifications on TAS about either.
Facebook can be everything you fear and more. However, it can also be a great tool. FB Groups separate you from the craziness and they allow the same interactions that are enjoyed on all the well known archery forums. A fella named Shandor Weiss has a group called Wood Lovers Traditional Archery Forum and it has worldwide participants sharing incredible history as well as "look what I bought". You can post an unlimited amount of photographs easily and instantly, edit and delete posts, converse privately in an instant with other participants and never enter the crazy world of regular Facebook if you don't want to.
Because I have to log in every time I want to post something like just now so it is easier to not post-just read what little there is here.
I won't do Facebook either-only have that for immediate family.
Used to be on here all the time until the new website change lost all the old stuff from all that was here and now they don't come back because its all about target/3 D, and certain few who just got another bow. as far as classifieds go haven't sold anything here so rarely post there any more. Just no response.
I don't do facebook either, and don't intend to start!

Everybody's on Facebook Sailor.
i am still here for what it’s worth. Haven’t done anything worth bragging about. Trying to get over my back issues. Two crushed disks keep me from much outside activity. Been shooting indoors lately. Only 20 yards, gets boring after awhile. Thinking of some sort of league but 99% of the other shooters are newbie’s. A couple of them I did help set up their bows. Simple stuff like nock points, brace height. Not much else as the bows are usually from Amazon or EBay along with arrows that don’t match. But hey, at 20 yards you can get just about anything to fly.
