No groundhogs in Wyoming. All our ground squirls are hibernating. There is a small town that has a groundsquirl statue they use. Must be in the shadow of a building, we always have 6 more weeks of winter

Groundhog day is also my grandson's birthday. He was first expected at the end of of February in leap year. Neat! But he didn't come. They then said on Valentine's Day. Wrong again. Instead it was on the second. Truth is I would prefer a boy on Groundhog Day than Valentine's Day. Sam III turns 9 years old today . He shoots the bow, but he is not as enthusiastic about archery as his Papa Sam. Let's hope that changes.

I read he saw his shadow. Seems like parts of the country will see more snow and cold. We on the other hand will enjoy spring early this year. Figures, I am on “light duty”, go in Friday for a procedure. Seems my heart flutters to much

Mine here are in their holes covered in 2 feet of snow...lol

I do have 7 deer bedded down outside my door under the juniper trees every night 'til the wee hours.
