One of our range captains, Clarissa, hosts an informal gathering that she calls, "Friday Night Lights ". Anyone that chooses to attend, club member or otherwise, can participate. Those that do, start gathering a couple of hours before sunset to BBQ, practice, or just shoot the breeze. After the sun has set, Clarissa fills balloons with tiny blinking LED's for in the dark fun. Sometimes there's minimal lighting at the firing line, other times there's none. Sometimes black light illuminate the butts covered in posters while other time luminocks are streaking through the air.
All the while Clarissa keeps ahead of the popping balloons and sometimes keeps the BBQ going for everyone else to enjoy.

I like that !
Frank Eicholtz, inventor of archery fiberglass and former president of San Diego Field Archers, started a club called Bare Bow Bowmen. They had events under parking lot lights in the early 50's.
Jim, looks like a lot of fun. Those Luminnocks have become popular with some of our Sportman club members. one of our members used them when we had an open house. Got folks attention. Don’t think our members are ready for a “lights out” evening yet.
Now that is cool.
Jim
Yessir..... that looks like a fun club to belong to.
This is our target range. Between this range and our walking range we hold 2 field rounds, 2 animal rounds, 2 hunter rounds, 2 900 rounds, and 9 3D tournaments each year. In addition, we host 4 novelty tournaments - Iron Turkey, King Arthur, Flying Pig, and the Sir Gordon Traditional. On top of all that we also host an annual Police & Fire Championship. We're a busy club.
Oh man, what FUN that would be!
Sounds like y'all have a really good time.
That's quite a range! And it sounds like a good time. Thanks for sharing.
That looks like lots of fun.
