Other than the fact it is not an ASL, does anyone have anything positive to say? Shooting a bow has not been a recent priority for me, but I intend on starting again very soon. Ive been considering a DAS or ILF type rig. Ive heard that DAS is generally more quiet for hunting situations.

Thanks Darren, that’s what I have to decide. I love exotic wood too.

Dave, I had the 21" Dalaa, It was very easy to tune and I probably shoot it the best out of all the bows I have shot, however since it isn't made of wood, it didn't have that visual appeal as wood bows have. I'm a big fan of exotic woods in my bows so having a metal riser was a draw back for me.
There's a lot of ILF limbs that can be converted to the DAS fitting and it's very easy to do. I use a press to change out the ILF fitting to DAS. If you decide to go with the DAS Dalaa (ILF), you won't have to deal with changing out the fittings.
I'm POSITIVE it isn't an ASL. Sorry, man. I couldn't resist. 😁
I have Gen 2 Master Hunter (17") and an Elite (21"). Both like new. I don't shoot them much simply because I am enamored with ASLs, but they do seem about the same as ILF rigs to me in terms of stealth. Advantages of one system over the other? None I can think of. If you opt for one of the early DAS risers made by Dave, however, you'll likely have an easier time recouping a larger percentage of your purchase price if you decide to sell later. Aside from that, they're all good risers. Welcome back to shooting!
