Anyone ever own or shoot one of his bows? If so, what is your opinion of them?

My thoughts same as Orion. It was my first recurve. Took a nice caribou with it. There are bows you may never shoot again but you wish you kept, that's one. That gentlemen was a long while back.

I owned one a long time ago. Excellent bow IMO. He tended to build them on the long side. I believe 66" was his favorite length. Wrist was a tad higher than I liked. Limbs were also quite wide, about 2 inches. Met Jim and spent a day with him at his shop. He was a helluva nice guy.

I bought one os Wes Wallace’s bows, a 66” Mentor. I understand that Wes builds the Mentor in honor of Jim Brackenbury. Love my Mentor, just don’t shoot it enough
