I see that Bivouac Bows created another stunning bow high lighted in Newell38 post ( Short skinny box day). Jim and Georgia sure take the art of bow making to another level.

Wow those limbs are something else. I wonder how that pattern would look on my Union Jack if it was available. I would be afraid to set it down in fear of loosing it.
I have 2 Union Jacks that Jim and Georgia made for me and couldn't be happier with them. They are smooth drawing and the grip fits my hand well. They are fine bows and the craftsmanship is second to none.
I getting restless again, so I may go up and talk to Jim and Georgia about making me a custom Lonestar.

My first impression is the riser is clean, not a bunch of “holes” or doo dadds . Setup looks like it belongs hunting

I wouldn't doubt if that's Jim's number 2 selling bow. I've been seeing a lot shooters posting they bought the riser with longbow and recurve limbs.
