I was going thru some containers and cleaning out some clutter and found this one container. Here is a picture of Andy Vail and some notes Hugh Rich wrote about Andy.

14 in air at one time? The best I ever did was three, light weight arrows and an 89 pound bow, always fumbled the fourth. .

He told me almost the exact same thing in so many words. I got to talk with Ande one time. I called everybody that was an authority on archery. Ande didn't like to shoot over 30 feet. He told me, he didn't see any need in it, not to say he couldn't. His was deadly accurate at any distance. At 30 feet, he could robin hood an arrow every time, well 99 out of 100. that's pretty close.

Hugh Rich told me Ande was a better trick shot than Howard Hill.

That sure is faith!! I don’t think I could have even let Howard shoot a dime I was holding. If I did it would have been a moving target because I would have been shaking so much 😂
