While looking through a box of bows for a bow that I didn't find, I found this one. It's very crudely made. The limbs slip into the dual shelf plastic handle. They are loose, but don't come out and I imagine they were originally securely glued into the handle. The handle does have some dull, impressed checkering on one side. I'm thinking this may have been some kind of kit that the buyer would assemble and finish. Apparently, whoever put this one together was not very skilled. It's 46" long, so it may have been a kids bow.

I had a bow that, as well as I can remember, looked like this. It was a toy and came with arrows with rubber suction heads. Not at all powerful but lots of fun. I used it to play cowboys and Indians.
I have seen others like that in days gone by. All for kids. Tie a knot in the string and hang it on, or run string thru opening and wrap a time or two. Then tie.
They are all fun. Thanks for posting !
Chuck, it may be 15 pounds, more or less. That's why I think it likely was a kids bow. I wouldn't shoot it if it was 10 pounds. I'd want to be about 50 feet away from anyone shooting it.
Not high poundage is it ?
Lower nock.
Upper nock.
