fletching tape does not work well, at all... glue is your best bet. they shoot fine off the shelf. They are low profile so if youre shooting a big feather you might see a little difference. my current arrows are half feathers and half trad vanes. I know that the shafts are a bit on the stiff side. the trad vanes will impact left more often than the feathers. thats no fault of the vanes just an improper arrow tune. Also, they wrinkle pretty quick and if you group tight when shooting you will have to refletch more since they cant part like feathers and you'll shoot holes in the vanes. Also, they are tricky to get seated properly on the shaft as they are very flexible and do not have a stiff quill. I leave them sticking out of the clamp a bit and then seat it in on the shaft. Seems to work better. If you hunt in the rain or just wet conditions Id give them a try.

I own some but have Never tried them yet. It just seams wrong to put them On woodies but I will eventually glue them on and give them an honest try. I would like to have some ready to hunt with incase of heavy rain.

One of my fellow shooters uses them as well. Except for having one shot off the shaft they are working for him.

I’ve talked to several people that used them and the consensus is they all like them.
