My son gifted me a 3D printer and my first thought was, what can I make for archery?
After some learning prints, I found these and had to make them.
Mini and full size string serving jigs and a cool San Diego Archers nightlight for the man cave.
Anyone else use a 3D printer for archery?

Make some fist shaped blunts, for small game. Wide at the base so you can drill a taper. Always wanted to do that. Can probably sell some...maybe a lot.
Would it be possible to print a broadhead from a resin or some such material (ceramic) that would be heavy enough and dense enough to hold a proper edge and hold together? Could it be done at a decent price?
That is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
You made a robot out of a butane camp stove and a plastic pail !?! Hmmm, where can we get one of these contraptions?
Jim, if you wanted to duplicate an item can you scan it and download the image to the printer, or is that only available on high end printers?
By the way, you need a manicure. Have Alice hold the item.
See? Now that's cool 👍
The first thing I made was this, so it can be very useful.
Wood is already doable in 3D printing.
A complete hobby set-up can be had for under $300. It's usefulness is based on the type of material used to print - PLA, PETG, ABS, etc. As the material becomes more durable, and heat resistant, the more difficult it is to use. If you were into restorations, antiques or cars for instance, a printer could be a godsend. Very expensive printers can print with extremely durable materials such as metals.
Actually they are purty dang cool!
Don't worry Ira, you will soon be able to 3D print wood 🤣
You can't be serious! That's not traditional.
I've played with the idea of buying one. They are getting so affordable now. Man, I can think of a bunch of fun stuff to make...
There are a bunch of vids on youtube about the printers, including ways to make your own feed stock from plastic bottles and other recycle-able plastics.
Like I need another hobby 😳
Way above my skill level but those are really usefull items. I did buy an 3D printed arrow spinner though. 😎
