So yesterday at the TAS Regional Championship in New Jersey, one of the guys associated with TANJ was displaying an old bow he bought that he was told had belonged to Howard Hill. Took some pictures in case those of you who are more familiar with Howard might be able to weigh in on the question. I can put you in touch with him if you'd like to hear more of the details about the potential provenance of the bow.

Leather riser wraps typically show significant wear if used regularly and that one clearly wasn't. Or it has a replacement wrap, again not something someone would do to a 'genuine' Hill-owned bow. Then there's the riser shape...not much like the older Hills I've seen. I'm with Tradlongbow, I'm guessing it ain't. Makes a nice story, though.
Definitely not. I’ve held several bows built by Howard himself. The riser section, width of the limbs looks nothing like what Howard himself built.
I would say Bob Burton would be the guy. His book is well worth reading btw.
Hope you had a great day there Bob. Great bunch of dedicated NJ TANJ guys.
