Hello there everyone. Scott Dobbs here from the other forums. I just recently sat down (today in fact) with my grandfather Donald Dobbs and had an interview with him about his experience with Howard Hill. Give me a couple of days to piece the video segments together and I will save it to YouTube for everyone to enjoy.
If we get more interview questions we can certainly set up a second interview for everyone!
Looking forward to this, Scott!

Awesome thank you!
Really looking forward to this interview Scott, thank you for taking the time to share this with us.
Really looking forward to it.
Thanks Scott. Should be a memorable piece of archery hiistory.

Here you go, everyone! I hope the quality isn't too poor but I edited it on free software and everything was done with my phone! I do believe, however, it turned out pretty alright! (Please excuse my stammering, I get nervous on camera apparently!)

Great job and thanks for sharing this wonderful video. Your Grandfather is an absolute archery treasure. His respect and friendship for and with Howard shines through.
Thank you Mr. Dobbs

That is very cool, Scott! You did a great job and your grandfather reminds me a lot of my own (now gone for over two decades). I wish I'd had the presence of mind to interview him on camera. Thank you for sharing this!!
I'll get to listen tommorow!
Well done. Very interesting story about Howard shooting someone’s compound! And the part about Howard hunting hogs from a tree stand. So many more stories probably lost in time that we’ll never hear good that you were able to record some of them. Real shame about all his memorabilia being lost in a fire. If you can maybe get your Grandpa to give the details of the bow Howard ordered for him and maybe any shooting lessons he was taught by Howard. Hope to see more.
Absolutely! Donald has told me he has a few stories he remembered and hopefully has written them down!
Thoroughly enjoyed listening to your grandfather's stories about his archery experiences. His love of the bow clearly shines through. If you have the opportunity, you could ask him what piece of advice from Howard helped him most in shooting the longbow.
