One of our members will be a Denton Hill this year, and he is willing to help with a TAS booth.

If someone is interested setting up a small popup gazebo with the TAS banner. I'll ship you the banner, flyers with the website, and names of sponsor, and a free TAS t-shirt for setting up at the event.

In response to the discussion on the other thread of Darren's - "Making Traditional Archery Society Unique" - I sent him a pm saying I plan on going to Denton Hill and would help out with a TAS booth if someone else could take the lead on it.  I go to Denton Hill each year, but the summer months are a busy time for me at work and I can't commit to being able to attend all days that the event is going on.  So if someone else is willing to take the lead, I'll be there to help when I can.

I know there is a charge for setting up a booth at Denton Hill, but I have no idea how much it is.  Something to check into if we're going to do this.

Here's the link to the shoot.  The info on it is mostly from last year's event and will be updated as the time gets closer.  http://www.archeryfestivals.com/e-t-a-r/

Denton Hill is in Coudersport, Potter County, PA. It's held at Denton Hill ski resort and it's a 4 day rendezvous....biggest in the country

bennie - Denton Hill is also known as the Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous (ETAR) and is held in north central Pennsylvania.  It's the biggest traditional archery event in the world with thousands of shooters each year.  There are 8 3D courses and three of them are accessed by riding a ski lift to the top of the mountain.  They also get 100+ vendors and if you're in the market for a bow, that's the place to go.  It's July 24 - 27.  Great time an always the highlight of my summer.  Every traditional archer owes it to themselves to make it there at least once.  Check out the link I posted above.

I'd be willing to help out also but can't really make a commitment.  With a trip to Texas at that time to see our new Great-granddaughter I'm not really sure I'll be going to Denton at all.  If I do I'll lend a hand if needed.

I keep their website in my favorites.  The cost for vendors is not posted.  You'll have to contact them by phone.

Those planning to attend should make reservations early.  Whether camping or lodging, on or off the grounds, this area fills up quickly.  If you wait too long you might not find any place to stay.  Frank

It have been a few years since I last attended Denton Hill, but if the Good Lord willing, I will be there this year. It is the single greatest shoot in the country with that many Traditional Shooters in one place at one time. I have thoughly enjoyed my self each time that I have gone over the years. Hope to see some of you there. Shoot Straight and Good Hunting
